Tonight we embark on an adventure in clarity and simplicity. I love many pockets of the animation process, but at the moment I'm in love with storyboarding. These doodles helped me grease my palms. Forgive me if I left construction to the winds.
There's an old post full of clear, hilarious drawings -- way better than mine, partly because they get more mileage from fewer lines -- from the ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive that inspired much of the material above. It's the boards for the pilot of The Alvin Show. I'll send you there. Get inspired!
